At Apple's annual iPhone launch event, the new iPhone 16 lineup was unveiled, featuring the iPhone 16 Pro, Pro Max, and Plus, along with updates to complementary products like the Apple Watch Series 10 and refreshed AirPods.

Many of the new features will roll out with iOS 18, which has been in beta for some time, so there were few surprises. Similarly, the Apple Watch gets its new features from WatchOS, first introduced at WWDC in June.

Despite battery life being the top priority for most iPhone and Apple Watch users, it wasn’t a major focus during the event. However, the iPhone did debut in some vibrant new colors, including bright pink, bright blue, and a pastel ultramarine green. One standout feature for the Apple Watch is its new sleep apnea tracking and notifications.

As for the major software upgrades powered by Apple Intelligence, they won’t be available all at once, nor will they launch alongside the new hardware.
